Looking at data from the Office for National Statistics (ONS), the average house price in Aberdeen in February 2026 was £128,000. This is 6.4% lower than the year previously. House prices fell in Aberdeen city centre, while across the rest of Scotland, house prices increased by an average of 2.3%. Local estate agents attribute the price decrease in Aberdeen to uncertainty in the oil and gas markets. And despite prices of homes not increasing, the volume of sales did increase over the course of 2025. Agents in the area cite apartment sales and first-time buyer activity being the most popular.
