Tilia Homes history
Thanks to having roots going back some seventy years, Tilia Homes has plenty of experience designing and building new homes.
The birth of the business began back in 1993 when Kier Group acquired three separate housebuilding businesses: Allison Homes, Twigden Homes, and Bellwinch Homes. These were all brought together and operated under the same name of Kier Homes.
Then in 2014, the residential side of the business rebranded to Kier Living and stayed that way until it was sold to the private equity firm Terra Firma in May 2021. Since the sale, the business became known as Tilia Homes, and the focus is on growing the business to become one of the leading housebuilders in the country.
Where can you find Tilia Homes?
Today, Tilia Homes operates across 4 key regions in England: Central, Eastern, Western, and Northern, with offices in each. To the West of the country, Tilia Homes can be found in Exeter, while their developments span Cornwall, Devon, Somerset, and up to Bristol and Bath. In the East of the country, Tilia Homes has an office in Bedford with developments covering many regions including Milton Keynes, Northampton, Peterborough, and Cambridgeshire.
The Central region is the second biggest covered by Tilia. From their regional office in Solihull, developments can be found from as south as Gloucester, across the whole of the West Midlands, and heading north across Derby, Leicester, Nottingham, and Sheffield.
The largest region Tilia Homes cover is the North. Here, the regional office can be found in Warrington while new home developments cover all areas north of Manchester, Liverpool, Cheshire, and Yorkshire, right up to the Scottish border.
