Who are Piper Homes?
They haven’t been in business all that long, in fact Piper Homes was only established in 2015. They have however in that time been busy scooping awards and being listed for their growth success to become a leading name in the housing industry. The company, based out of Solihull and with 38 staff, focuses on building attractive family homes in desirable semi-rural locations. The areas they cover with their housebuilding spans Oxfordshire, Gloucestershire, Worcestershire and Warwickshire as well as the Cotswolds and up to Nottinghamshire. Some of their newer developments are larger than ever before and have seen a move across to the East Midlands region.
Piper Homes success
Success for Piper Homes has been significant, especially in recent years. It started with the housebuilder growing to become a profitable business with a £38m turnover at the end of the 2021 financial year. Before that, in 2020, they won Best Small Housebuilder at the 2020 WhatHouse? Awards.
For two years running, in both 2022 and 2023, Piper was recognised on the FT 1000 Europe’s Fastest Growing Company list, compiled by the Financial Times and Statista. In March 2023, Piper Homes was named as the number one independent housebuilder in the UK as well as being the 52nd fastest growing company in the UK.
And there has also been success for one of the housebuilder’s site managers, who won a Pride in the Job 2023 Award for his work on the Plumb Meadows development in Pershore, Worcestershire.
