Spotlight on… Northampton

Government plans revealed at the end of September that a potential 3,000+ homes could be built across the Northamptonshire towns of Corby, Kettering, and Wellingborough.
With a significant number of new developments already being built in these areas, we look at the benefits of the region, and some of the new homes available for sale.

Living in Northamptonshire
So, what is good about living in Northamptonshire? Well, for starters there are lots of green spaces to enjoy near the developments being built. Families can get away for walks, days out, and much more in the region’s diverse rural locations. Another draw to the region is the fact that major cities are still accessible for work, with Northampton Railway station running direct services to London and Birmingham. With these both being an hour away, those working in the larger cities can enjoy an easy commute, while taking advantage of the more affordable properties Northamptonshire has to offer.
A lot of investment has gone into areas of Northampton recently; Corby is undergoing massive regeneration for example. And with Northampton itself being one of the largest towns in the UK, there are lots of options for shopping, leisure, and other means of entertainment.
