Kempster’s Reach, named so after local folklore surrounding the ‘Worton giant’, Frederick Kempster, lies around 3 miles southwest of Devizes and near the northern edge of Salisbury Plain. At the centre of bustling village life lies the village hall serving Worton and nearby Marston, plus The Rose and Crown pub, a Grade II listed 17th-century building.
